5. Mint Lemonade Ice Tea
A healthy beverage indeed, the mint lemonade ice tea can always have varied amount of mint and sugar depending on your taste. You will need three tablespoons of fresh mint leaves which have been crushed. In addition, you will require 700 ml of boiling water and 4 teaspoon of tea leaves. A cup of white sugar and 6 ounce of frozen lemonade concentrate is also needed.
Add boiling water, tea leaves and sugar in a teapot. Stir till the sugar dissolves and leave the same for three minutes. Stain the tea leaves and stir the mint leaves. Leave this beverage for 12 minutes.
Stain the mint leaves next and stir in the lemonade concentrate. Serve this beverage in glass with ice.
4. Black Tea Lemonade
This strong and sweet black tea lemonade can be served with slice of lemon for some additional flavour.
You will need 5 cups of water, half cup of white sugar, 3 orange pekoe tea bags and a can of frozen lemonade for making black tea lemonade.
The sugar and water are to be boiled in the saucepan. Add some tea bags and let the tea seep in this mixture. The remaining water and lemonade concentrate is to be mixed in a separate container in the meantime.
The tea mixture is to be mixed in the lemonade and the tea bags are to be discarded. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
3. Smooth Ice Tea
A refreshing drink for hot summers, the ice tea is made from a pinch of baking soda, boiling water, 6 tea bags, 3/4th cup of white sugar and 6 cups of cold water.
You need to sprinkle some baking soda into a glass pitcher. Add some boiling water and tea bags to the same. Cover the same and allow it to cool for around ten minutes. Remove the tea bags and store the cool tea in a refrigerator until used.
2. Lime Mint Ice Tea
An ice tea with a taste of lime and mint, the lime mint ice tea is another favourite summer time treat. You will need 700 ml of boiling water, 4 tea bags, half cup of fresh mint leaves, 1/4th cup of sugar and lime juice for the same.
Mix some sugar, mint and tea bags in hot water. Allow the mixture to steep for around 15 minutes. You will have to stain the mint leaves and tea bags from the same. Add some lime juice before you serve the same.
The addition of ginger lends some fine taste to Matcha Ginger Ice Tea. You will need a teaspoon of matcha powder, 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped ginger, ½ cup of ice, lime juice and some honey for preparing Matcha Ginger ice tea.
You will have to blend ice, ginger and matcha together until the ice gets crushed. Pour this mixture in a chilled glass. Add some honey and lime juice to the same and relish the preparation.
